Saurav is the Managing Director at IBBZ. His primary responsibility is to ensure that clients receive accurate and effective advice. He oversees the operations of IBBZ Accounting and brings more than 15 years of practical experience in tax and accounting services. He holds qualifications in both law and accounting and has previously worked in specialist tax and accounting roles for major corporate organisations in New Zealand. He has a strong passion for working with small businesses.

His key areas of focus include:

• Tax advisory for small and family-owned businesses across a wide range of taxation matters
• Structuring legitimate and effective tax-saving strategies
• Advising on new business setup and compliance matters
• Supporting sustainable business growth
• Cash-flow planning and management

Saurav specialises in taxation. His expertise includes dispute resolution, tax relief applications, tax debt management, and representing clients during tax audits. He regularly assists clients undergoing audit investigations and guides them through the audit process. Where required, he is also able to represent clients in mediation, conference phases, or matters before the Taxation Review Authority.

In 2025, Saurav was advanced to FCPA status as a Fellow of CPA Australia—recognising over 15 years of robust professional experience and his commitment to excellence in the accounting profession.

His combined expertise in tax law and accounting makes him an ideal advisor for small businesses and individuals. He understands how to safeguard businesses from creditor risk, support growth, and optimise tax outcomes. He is a strategic thinker, a practical problem-solver, and is known for being approachable and easy to work with.

Saurav is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is registered with the leading professional accounting bodies in both Australia and New Zealand. He is highly skilled at interpreting financial information and helping clients plan for their future with confidence.

Driven by a strong desire for continuous learning, Saurav consistently pursues further education and professional development. He takes immense pride in helping clients achieve their financial goals. His diligence, passion, and attention to detail have earned him a reputation as a reliable and trustworthy professional who consistently goes above expectations.

Saurav is actively involved with various charitable and community organisations and serves on the management and advisory boards of several groups, including Maa Shakti Charitable Trust and the Baptist Church. His dedication to the community led to a nomination for Justice of the Peace by former MP Jamie-Lee Ross.

A dedicated family man, Saurav enjoys spending quality time with his family. He has two children, Deepika (8) and Vaani (5), who attend school in East Auckland. He enjoys the outdoors and participates in activities such as swimming, running, yoga, skiing, snorkelling, and weekend motorbike rides. He has competed in the Ocean Swim Series for three consecutive years—King of the Bays Takapuna (2017), King of the Bays Devonport (2018), and the Auckland Harbour Bridge 1 km Crossing (2019). He is currently learning classical music, having previously completed guitar studies at Auckland Guitar School in Howick.

IBBZ Accounting won the award of Best Small Business 2014. In 2015 Best Accountant of the Year. 

In July 2018, CPA Australia filmed IBBZ Accounting for their marketing campaign to showcase successful accountants in New Zealand Public Practice.  

IBBZ Accounting was a Finalist in Westpac Auckland Business Awards: Strategy and Business Planning 2018. The Westpac Auckland Business Awards are delivered annually by Auckland Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED).

In 2019, IBBZ Accounting was a Finalist in Two categories in Westpac Auckland Business Awards: Excellence in Customer Service Delivery and Excellence in Strategy and Business Planning.

Sandy is the CEO of IBBZ Accounting Limited. She is the founder of this business. IBBZ business values, work ethics, objectives, business planning and strategic thinking is the result of Sandy's vision. She looks at the business from non-accountant perspective. She understands New Zealand business environment and the challenges a small business in New Zealand face. She knows very well how to build successful profit making business.

She has worked as a food research scientist for the Plant and Food Research Institute of New Zealand. She always had a vision of helping people and doing something good for the society. In 2010 IBBZ was setup to assist people in making right business/financial decision, and rest all is history. Today IBBZ serve over 450 businesses on a regular basis and hundreds more on a one off advisory basis. IBBZ has received many recognised business awards almost every year from 2014 onwards. 

A New Zealand born food research scientist turned into CEO of an accounting firm. She is responsible for making strategic decisions for the company. She contributes in the success and growth of the company. She has outstanding relationship building skills. She is accountable for the overall management of the company. She is quite passionate about New Zealand Residential property market. She is always available to provide strategic directions to the clients.

She is the head of all business operations including customer complaint resolution. She has presented our business in national and international conferences.
